Driver and Requirement
Market Street may spend up to $1,000 a day on the site (Market Street Site Spend). A mandate held by a team needs the team to say how it decides — otherwise everyone waits for everyone.
Who is responsible for what?
- Every member of Market Street — today Ines Rossi and Lena Frei — may act on the site’s spending mandate as described below.
- Bakery Operations — takes anything above the daily limit.
Description
- Up to $200: any member decides alone, no need to ask.
- Above $200: two members decide together. On a site of two, that is both.
- Above $1,000 in a day: outside the site’s mandate — it goes to Bakery Operations. The daily limit counts everything the site spends that day, by all members together.
Whoever spends writes it in the site cash book the same day. Being Market Street Shop Manager gives no extra say here: the site’s money is the site’s.
Evaluation Criteria
- Small repairs happen the same day, without a phone call.
- The cash book matches the receipts at the end of the month.
